AFM SAFECOAT® Safe Seal

This multi-use, water-based, low-gloss sealer works for highly porous surfaces such as particleboard, plywood, processed wood . This sealer is used primarily to reduce toxic outgassing. It is highly effective at sealing in formaldehyde outgassing from processed wood such as plywood, particleboard and pressed wood. Please note, due to the softness of Safe Seal, multiple coats can remain slightly tacky, so if used on exposed areas would need to be sealed or painted over. Alternatively, use Hard Seal where a durable finish is required.
